Why? Idk. And what do I mean by revolting? I mean a gothic novel or something with incest implied or blatant in it. GAY incest, too, since... well. Straight incest is just a bit too revolting for my pen :/ Anyway, it's not that I want to write it because I like it [it's revolting, seriously] but rather because... even in the modern era, it's STILL shocking.
So I was thinking, am I to write THE Great American Novel in a vast, 4-6 volume epic as a condemnation of censorship and idealism?
Or maybe a neo-gothic novel with a lot of elements I really adore but a plot i'm not really attached to?
Or maybe take a few of those elements and put it in a fantasy novel that I'm kinda... still working on in my head?
-sigh-
maybe I should stick with mini-epic poems and short stories lol.
